I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in the year 2000 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a Reading Emphasis.

I taught fifth grade at Cumberland Academy my first year of teaching. I transferred to first grade at Cumberland my second year of teaching and have been teaching first grade for 6 incredible years.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Brandon, and I have a 10 year-old stepson and a 3 year-old daughter.
