Welcome to Cumberland Academy

Cumberland Academy is excited to announce the opening of a new facility for the 2010-2011 school year. The new 37,000 sq ft. facility will be located at the corner of Shiloh Road and Chad Drive directly west of Hubbard Middle School. Cumberland is now accepting applications for students who want to get on the pre-enrollment list.

Mission

Cumberland Academy shall equip students with a toolkit for success by providing committed and engaged educators, responsible and supportive administration, and regular opportunities for parent involvement. We shall continually seek out and use the most effective curricula available, prepare our students for successful testing and engage students in educational learning activities. The school culture shall provide an environment in which each student feels safe, secure and motivated to achieve full academic and intellectual potential. By teaching to multiple styles of learning, using integrated cross-grade level instruction, keeping class sizes small and emphasizing strong character development, we intend to meet the needs of all students, thereby ensuring success.
